Welcome to Lexington’s First United Methodist Church! We are a community of people of all ages seeking to follow Christ and to make an impact in and beyond Lexington.

As a part of the United Methodist Church, we have deep roots in the Methodist movement, which emphasizes that God is reaching out to all people and inviting them into life-giving relationships with God and with each other. When we respond, God’s grace continues to work in our lives, shaping us into the people we were created to be -- people of love, mercy, and hope.  While we are deeply anchored in where we’ve been, we are also actively listening to where God is leading us.
