Since 2021, the Board of Trustees have reviewed the condition of our 71-year-old building. They have repaired & repainted the steeple, removed the dilapidated Scout Hut, made multiple repairs to our HVAC system, made various repairs including a new deck at the parsonage, and renovated Sunday School rooms for new ministry activities. For 2026, the Trustees have identified seven major projects that need to be funded through a capital campaign with your support. To complete these projects, we need to raise up to $150,000.

1. Prayer Garden & Gazebo	$ 26,000
2. Furnace Boiler water pumps	$ 15,000
3. Elevator Hydraulic Fluid replacement	$ 8,000
4. Three HVAC units	$ 48,000
5. Roof repairs	$ 25,000
6. Playground Safety Upgrades	$ 7,000
7. Chancel wall plaster repair	$ 6,000
8. Allowance for cost overruns	$ 15,000
Total	$150,000

Gifts made to First UMC Capital Campaign may be made in honor or memory of loved ones. All contributions, memorials, and honorariums will be listed on a plaque to be placed on the wall outside the main church office, unless the donor requests to remain anonymous. If there are any funds left over after all the projects are completed, they will be set aside for future building & grounds projects.
