February Hands-On Mission Project

During the month of February, United Women in Faith will be collecting preowned purses and feminine hygiene supplies for the young ladies at Lexington Middle School and Lexington High School.

Items needed:

Preowned purses in very good condition. The young ladies prefer purses over backpacks. If you have an extra nice quality purse, please consider donating it for this project.

Unopened packages of feminine pads and tampons

Feminine hygiene wipes

Deodorant

Monetary donations for the project will be accepted and are appreciated. You may leave a check in the UWinFaith mailbox in the workroom or drop it in the offering plate at one of the services on Sunday.

We realize this isn’t our usual backpack program collection but we’ve been blessed with donations in November and December to CIS and thought the young ladies would benefit from the feminine hygiene supplies and would love to have a nice purse to carry to school as well.
